Current Positions: I am Head of International Research of the Agroscope ART Research Institution in the Swiss Federal Department of Economic Affairs (DEA, part of the Swiss Government), President of the Association "Design For All", Leader of the "Expert group Accessibility" of the Swiss eGovernment standards organisation eCH, member of the Working group on Accessibility Guidelines of the Swiss Government, Director of the Centre BATS for Biosafety and Sustainability Research, "Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter" at the Institute of Computational Science of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.

In research I focus on the applications of information technology in Life Sciences and in Accessibility of web technologies. I received my Masters degree in Sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (MSc ETH) in 1996. More under "Research".

Some projects result in "Publications". Earlier, as assistant at the Institute for Scientific Computing of ETH, I also covered some projects under "Teaching".
